On the 70th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II various celebrations were held with great enthusiasm under the name of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. It was celebrated officially by the UK Government from 2nd to 5th June 2022 and various events were organized across the country. To highlight and propagate the Islamic teachings of loyality and love for the country, Qiadat Tabligh Majlis Ansarullah UK planned to hold these celebrations by regions and majalis. Qiadat Tabligh provided full guidance and plan to the regions and majalis since February. Regions were guided on various steps from taking permissions from local authorities to planning and holding the event successfully. 

Participation: Several regions of Majlis Ansarullah UK participated directly and indirectly in Platinum Jubilee programmes. For holding these programmes, interested host members applied to their local council for regular permission. Some events were held in local mosques. 11 regions of the country organized these events while 25 majalis celebrated these events at majalis level. A total of about 750 Ansar participated in these programmes while Majlis Ansarullah got the opportunity to host more than 1300 non-Muslims and external guests, including MPs, religious leaders, political and social figures and representatives. The Regions and Majalis also participated fully in the programmes organized by the jama’at, thus celebrating these events in 11 regions. 

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations: During platinum jubilee celebrations, an exhibition of Quran, leaflets and books was held and banners were displayed. The celebrations had the opportunity to distribute more than 350 books, which became a source of tabligh to the guests. The most important of which was the book “A Gift for the Queen” by of Promised Messiah (as) which was provided free of cost to the guests. The dignitaries and various representatives expressed their views at the events. The guests appreciated the jama’at activities. The guests were served with drinks and food. 

Social Media: Region and Majalis shared the pictures of their events from their Twitter accounts, which were liked and shared by many non-Muslim individuals and organizations from their Twitter accounts. Thus, it was made possible to spread the message of Islam Ahmadiyat to thousands of people. 

Administration: Since the start of the planning, under the guidance of Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, respected Dr Ch Ijaz Ur Rehman sahib, event was throughly planned and discussed. Qiadat Tabligh organised a central food arrangement in Baitul Futuh mosque for London regions from where food was provided to regions for their events. Similarly, many regions were provided furniture, banners and other accessories for their events. In this regard full cooperation and guidance was provided by following members of National Amila of Majlis Ansarullah UK.
