On 4th June 2022, Majlis Ansarullah Peterborough arranged a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Neighbourhood’s Street event in Peterborough. Ansar personally invited with an invitation letter by knocking on more than 300 local houses in the neighbourhood area. In this event, 122 local residents including 2 councillors came to attend. Attendees were served with food packs.
Majlis also got 5 Tablīgh contacts. Food was also delivered to 9 residents who were housebound at their houses after the even. Every attendee exchanged their contact details to be contacted for any future events. A book stall was also organised where Majlis distributed books to the guests.
Majlis Ansarullah Peterborough organised another Queen’s Platinum Jubilee event in Peterborough on 5th June 2022. Majlis organised this event with a church where they gave refreshments to the guests. It was a great welcome by every member of the church. Everyone was excited to see each other and wished to have an Interfaith event with Jama’at soon. The message of Islam Ahmadiyyat was given to around 60 church members.
