Majlis Ansarullah Wales and the South West region held an Eid Dinner in Cardiff on 26th July 2022, in which 22 guests of various faiths joined.
The Mayor of Caldicot and a Councilor were presented with copies of the Holy Quran.
The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the welcome address by Muhammad Ikram Dar sahib (Nazim Tabligh) and then Ammar Ahmad sahib (Regional Missionary) speech. Mr Gurmit Singh of Cardiff represented the Sikh religion and delivered his speech followed by a speech by Cllr Maxine Mitchell (Mayor of Caldicot). Regional Nazim-e-Ala gave a vote of thanks, followed by silent prayer. At the end, a delicious lunch was served to the guests.
